Wonderful vacation!
I'm back! Spent the last week in Montana and Yellowstone and had a really great time. Only two low spots in the whole vacation. One was the evening I was SICK. Made full use of the hotel bathroom all night long..... The other was the day we were driving home and a rock cracked our windshield. But the sickness was short lived....hooray! And the windshield can be fixed. Other than that, we had a blast. We saw Custer's last Stand Monument and enjoyed that area for about 4 hours. The last day we were in Yellowstone we were pulled over at one of the wildlife viewing areas. We saw 3 Wolves, a 3 yr old Grizzly, and 50 head of elk all within the same area. AND while watching them all a bald eagle flew by. Can't get much better than that! More posting later. Maybe will even through in a picture or two.

Artful Sentiments Copic Challenge #18

I'm a tad early for the challenge but Kimm said it was okay to post since I'm going out of town tomorrow. This was a fun color group. You can see the challenge colors by clicking on the link to the right to go to Artful Sentiments by Kimm's blog (on Saturday morning!). Instead of misting the stamp (in this case it was acrylic), I misted the paper and quickly scribbled on the stamp. The ink seemed to not dry quite as fast on the acrylic as on the rubber.....go figure! The stamp are by Heidi Swapp. I sure love this set. I used it on a couple of cards that will be in the artwork section of the new Technique Junkie newsletter that will be posted near the 1st of August. You're going to love this newsletter.....lots of real fun techniques in it with stuff you have on hand!
Tomorrow Ray and I will travel with my daughter, Leah, and her husband, Adam, and grandson, Zander. We are going to Montana. Adam's parents live in Billings and we will stay a day or so with them. We have three nights in NW Yellowstone........I'm excited about that! We are also going to a Gem farm somewhere in Montana. You can find sapphires there. I love rocks!! Adam made all the reservations and we didn't have to do a thing. That was really nice. I hope to have lots of pictures and stories when I get back in a week. Hope the traveling goes well with all five of us in our Explorer.
I'll miss the Challenge for next week. I had the colors ahead of time but just ran out of time to complete the card.
