Saturday is my youngest grandson's birthday. Zander is in love with Paw Patrol and I thought this week's technique called Ombre Frames would be perfect for the German Shepherd, Chase! I thought that it would be fun to have Chase popping out of the frame. I cut the inside a little off center to accommodate the shield. Found a '6' already cut out for the front and some clipart for the dog and shield. I hope that Z loves it!

Blog Candy Winners!!
Today is the day that I award the Blog Candy!! The winners will receive an unmounted stamp of the image shown on this card. Hambo is a stamp company that has THE most adorable pig images. Even though this stamp isn't a pig, it is every bit as darling!!

Watch the video.......we picked the winners a little differently this time!
Since Blogger takes REALLY long to upload my videos, I have posted it on YouTube. Here is the link:
My grandson, Zander, helped me this time......then you get to see the dogs too. They wouldn't stay put on the other side of the camera. The large poodle, Gabby, is mine and the small black one is my mom's....YoYo. My mom helped video....she should have come a little closer so you could have actually seen the names on the slips.....oh well. She almost got Zander's name wrong....oh my!
Our winners are: Cathy Yamashita (her blog entry) and Diane Klieger! I'll get a hold of you gals for your addys! Congratulations!!
So.......if any of you have Blog video tips for me, let me know. ;-)

SC222 Biker Girl
http://Charmedcrafts.blogspot.com
is having an awesome blog candy giveaway! I linked the card below to their candy offer!

Isn't this the most darling little girl! Thanks to my Swedish friend, she is now gracing my blog!! She is from a stamp company called hAnglar. They only sell their stamps in Sweden and Norway. I colored her with copic markers. I can see that I really need to work on my shading and thinking on where my light source is coming from. The plaid paper is from a 8 x 8 pad I got a couple of years ago. The dark green has a real heavy texture to it. The 'faux stitching' around the outer edge is a technique from the April Technique Junkie newsletter. I have found that it really doesn't matter what technique I use to stitch.....I always get it crooked. ;-) It did weird things on the really textured paper too.
Today I watched Zander.....for the most part he was a wonderful baby but later in the day he was truly fussy even with a nap and food. I think he teeth are really bothering him. He is cutting the second top tooth. It will make 6 for him when it finally comes through! It did make for a looooong day for me. Ray was so sweet.....he got dinner on the way home at Applebee's. Mmmmmmm, ribs!

Another Teaser card

I felt lucky to get any carding done today as I was babysitting my little grandson, Zander. He was a little under the weather today with a runny nose.....oh joy! He was really hungry though. Pounded down 8 oz plus of milk plus two rounds of solids. He is starting to scrawl.......you know.....the scoot kind of crawl! He can now play patty cake as well as saying MaMa! Isn't he just the cutest little thing.
Tomorrow should be a fun day. For the evening, Ray and I get to go to the Doo Wop concert at the Arlene Schnitzer hall. I was hoping to wear one of my cool gowns but I think I'd be WAY overdressed for this event.
