I'm Back and it is time for a Hop!

My huge Car event is done (see the story about it below) and I've dug into my stamp room just in time to have some fun with a Blog Hop!!  I hope that you enjoy the samples from the newest Technique Junkie CD series called Bodacious Background Stamp CD.  Our Technique Junkies Design Team has a fabulous Hop planned for you showcasing lots of great samples from this CD.   I've got a little drop down link on my sidebar that makes it easy for you to order!

This CD contains 30 ways to use your background stamps in fun and creative ways!  Learn how to color, stamp and transform your background stamped images.  Twenty brand new tutorials plus ten techniques from the TJ archives.  All 30 tutorials are in step-by-step pdf format - compatible for Macs and PCs alike.  All the tutorials are printable to 8-1/2” x 11” paper.
It is available for order TODAY using the dropdown on the side bar.  The CD will be shipped in less than 2 weeks!
You should have arrived here from Hetty's blog.  Hetty is our designer from the Netherlands and her samples are always wonderful!   You really don't want to miss any of the designers so please start at the beginning with Judy on the Design Team website by clicking HERE.

Now for my projects!  My first card uses a technique called Irresistible Rainbow.  If you look close you can see the lighter image in the background (easy to see on the blue side).  It was a really fun technique and easy to use with so many different backgrounds!  The background stamp is from Stampin' Up and the Words are from Wordsmith.

My second card showcases a technique called Outlined Resist.  This technique gives you that Decorated Paper look.  The background stamp is from Technique Junkie Stamps (formerly Stamp Camp) and the Words are Stampin Up.

If you get lost, you can always refer to the list below.   You can click HERE to see the table of contents for the CD.  You can click HERE to read more about the CD and to order.  OR you can order from my link in my sidebar.
Thanks for hopping along with us today!! We look forward to seeing your fabulous creations!

Now for some extra news about my big car event.  Some of you may remember that my car club was trying to break a Guinness world record for the Most Mustangs/Fords in a Parade in order to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang.  Well, our event was on April 12, 2014 and we had a fabulous turnout!!  The old record was 620 Mustangs/Fords in a Parade.  Our paperwork is going off to Guinness soon and if they accept it, our attempt broke the old record!!  We had 829 cars on our parade that started AND returned.  Of those, 766 were Mustangs!!!   It was a wonderful event and counting the Mustangs in spectator parking (we had to close registration) we had well over 1000 Mustangs at our event site.  It was a lot of eye candy for car buffs!!

Wonderful cards- love the colors of the first and the dimension from the technique, and love the outline technique- and how it makes the image pop! I'll have to sneak over and see what you have posted about the Mustang event!
