Bisters for Friends

Bisters....not blisters!  I have had these Bister powders for quite a while.  Only used them once before and decided that it would be fun to play with them.  My friend, Penny, came over and she had the newer Ken Oliver Color Burst powders.  Bisters crystals are okay but I sure liked the Color Bursts better!!  I made five card fronts (four with the Bister crystals)....they still need some words.

I want some critique from you.  On the blue/green leaf sample, do you think I should color in the leaves in something like a light yellow/green or leave them the cream of the watercolor paper? 

Then I tried something that I thought would be neat.....FAILURE.  I put some of the Bister crystals on my watercolor paper, covered it with a damp paper towel and then misted it more.  The paper towel looked pretty cool...for a while.  I finally lifted it to look at the paper beneath.  It looked like I had done nothing.  Hmmmm.  So, I just misted it like normal and that is the red/yellow/blue sample.  Think I'll stamp a silhouette stamp in it.

These will all be made into cards that I will send to the ladies in my Young Living Essential Oil group as some happy mail!
