Sweet Stop Challenge Fun

The Design Team ladies of the Sweet Stop Challenge were talking this last week about children.  Some of us are caring for our grandchildren (like me), some have teenagers, some have younger children, some have none, and finally one of us is pregnant (NOT me!!).  We talked about the challenges of our children and grandchildren.  When it came time for me to make my card this week AND keeping in mind the conversations that we had been having.  I just had to use this darling image from Mo's Digital Pencil.  This little boy is throwing a tantrum and most of us have seen this happen in our lives!  The splashed background behind him is the Bingo Blast Technique from the Technique Junkies Newsletter (you can read more about it by clicking the TJ banner below to the right). as well as another technique called Ancient Paper.  That technique is under the ribbon.   Then....the sentiment.......ya know not many sentiments go with a screaming child but I thought "This too shall pass" was quite appropriate, don't you?!  Remember, you can play along with us!  Click the Sweet Stop banner to the right and follow the directions!

LOL, oh this make me laugh and brings back a lot of memories. The sentiment 'this too shall pass' I say quite a bit to my kids (who are all grown men). You did a great job on this card.

HA! This is so funny. Maurie really knows how to capture the essences of life doesn't she? OH MY! It wasn't long ago that I had a daughter in her "terrible twos" ... and threes, and fours! LOL.

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! I actually live 2 hours south of Portland. I was just up there last Saturday, when I flew back from CA for a week a Disneyland. Fun fun! Portland's airport was much nicer than OC for sure! The seats were much more comfy too--esp. having to sit for 2 1/2 hours waiting for our plane, but anyway. Yep, kinda live in the boonies, but we have awesome weather--most of the time. Doesn't hardly rain here in the high desert. *Ü* We have a view of 5 different mountains and 2 lakes within 15 minutes either way of us. So it's nice. :) Glad to "meet" you!! Have a great day.
